Meet the Member
Robert Butler currently serves as the Director of High Performance at Nashville Soccer Club. Prior to this role, he served as the Director of Performance for the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Organization overseeing all physical performance training, sport science, mental skills and on-field technology integration as well as minor league medical services and rehab. Before joining professional sports full-time, Dr. Butler spent five and a half years as an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy in the School of Medicine at Duke University and was a Clinical Researcher for Duke Health Systems. He received his PhD in Biomechanics and Movement Science from the University of Delaware in 2005 and completed a post-doc at UNC-Chapel Hill before completing his DPT at the University of Evansville.
